22 Feb Surfing The Pass

Byron Bay’s most iconic surf break ‘The Pass’ offers an A1 interpretation of the ‘Endless Summer’ we all dream of. Peeling for days on end, the pass boasts prefect waves for all levels of surfer.

Off the rock can throw hollow dredging sandy tubes to rival the best of them. Middle sections offer some of the best Malibu style long board waves you have ever seen, whereas the inside is perfect for surf lessons, teaching grommets and sub-tropical bathing rivalled by no other.

Long afternoon sessions at the pass are a locals’ favourite past time. Cheerful faces, eclectic characters and a place where all walks of life – no matter their many differences, gather to seek the therapy of yet another stunning Mt Warning Sunset.
