Dear Friends of Bask & Stow,

We hope you are all well during these trying times. We have made the hard decision to temporarily close the guesthouse to protect the local community. We want to do our part in limiting the spread for the health and safety of all.

The good news is we are taking bookings for dates from early Spring. During this down time we will innovate, tackle unfinished projects, and be ready when we re-open our doors to you, our much-loved guests.

We cannot wait to share our beautiful part of the world with you again. Kindly let us know how you are getting on. In the meantime take care, stay home, safe and positive.

Maria and Team
Bask & Stow

Relaxed coastal living meets mid-century architecture, Bask & Stow Guesthouse has been designed for the discerning traveller in mind.

A stone’s throw away from Wategos, Cape Byron, Arakwal National Park and surrounding beaches. Created by award-winning local architects Harley Graham, inspired by Bauhaus and Palm Springs, the suites celebrate local designers. Nestled in a quiet neighbourhood, yet only a short walk to Clarke’s beach and town, just three doors down from the iconic Top Shop Cafe.

A small, family-owned guesthouse, we aim to provide an experience of feeling restored by Byron Bay’s charm. With plenty of local tips for must-dos and incredible eats, we ensure you get the most from your sojourn in Byron Bay.

Our Suites

Each of the guest suites at Bask & Stow Byron Bay have been thoughtfully and individually styled with reference to mid-century design and luxury modern coastal living. We have created individual spaces to enhance your stay in Byron Bay; with light filled private decks complete with cane hanging chairs, a refreshing plunge pool and a poolside relaxation deck.
